About Us

What is Royal Rangers?

Royal Rangers is America's premier, most sought after mentoring ministry for the next generation Men!

Today's boy is tomorrow's man. The best time to train a man is while he's still a boy. By mobilizing, inspiring, and resourcing mentors, Royal Rangers offers character and servant leadership education to boys and young men (K-12) in a highly relational, fun, and interactive environment.

Influence more, more effectively!   That is our vision. In 1962, Royal Rangers started with only a few boys. Today, thanks to the innovation and devotion of our mentors "to influence more boys and young men than ever, more effectively than ever," Royal Rangers' influence continues to expand, shaping future generations one boy at a time.

Our Mission: Royal Rangers exists to "evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders." This is our passion!

Mentoring future men with God's Word as our guide is our aim. In a sentence, the Royal Rangers discipleship process is so effective because it is consistent with the simple way God calls the church to function, and it is consistent with how God wired men and boys to be.

Each outpost has four age groups to allow boys to advance with their peers at an appropriate pace.

Ranger Kids (Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade), includes a challenging and fun advancement system encouraging boys through indoor and outdoor activities and games. The weekly lessons and objectives help to reinforce godly principles in their daily lives, and they will have opportunities to achieve many advancement awards that can be placed on an awards vest and worn each week as part of the official Royal Rangers uniform.

The Discovery Rangers program (Third, fourth, and fifth grade), features an exciting premier advancement system. In this system boys will learn through camping and non-camping activities. An emphasis is placed on learning at their own pace in a merit-based curriculum.

Adventure Rangers (Sixth, seventh, and eighth grade), participate in more challenging camping and outdoor activities while emphasizing skill development, advanced camping, Junior Leadership Training, Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship (FCF), and Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals with national recognition.

Expedition Rangers (Ninth through twelfth grade) is considered a high action-packed adventure trail in which the boy is further challenged by advanced camping, camp craft skills, and ministry opportunities. These activities offer boys in this age group ways to become more self-reliant and develop confidence and a greater appreciation of God. Several advancement programs are available including Air Rangers, Sea Rangers, Trail Rangers, Junior Chaplain, High Action Rangers, Junior Leadership Academy opportunities and more. Boys will be challenged to serve through Home Missions, Foreign Missions, Youth Ministry, and Men’s Ministry.
